Sacha Cherrrington and Tiare Edmonds are collaborating with the Talking Matters team to start a playgroup once a week on Thursdays from 1-2pm based in kaitaia at Far North REAP for Hapū Mamas or Mama with pēpi to come and socialize and also gain knowledge about the advantages of starting kōrero with our tamariki in the first 1000 days of their life to help enhance our pēpi’s knowledge and understanding of what is going on around them and eventually lead to having pēpi responsive and engaged in kōreo. We are here for hapu mama and whanau to talk through what is happening for them and learning about what is going on with baby in the womb and after birth We offer a hearing ear if you need someone to talk to. Our playgroup welcomes all whānau with tamariki under 6 years to participate.
